Fire-Fly sits down and looks out at the waves. He looks over at Ivy. He hopes she doesn't know the history of the place, and why dogs bring other dogs here. He looks deeply into her eyes and smiles. They were beautiful, bright, happy and kind. Those were words he would use to describe them. He looked down at his paws to hide his embarrassment.

I.... Fire-Fly scuffled his paws. He thought about telling her his feeling for her, but then decided not to. Yeah, I'm erm...fine. He looked up at her and smiled, then without thinking he blurted out, I love you! He looked straight down at his paws. I mean it's okay if you don't like me.....

Fire-Fly looked at her, his eyes lighting up. You really do? Inside his head he already knew that he believed her, but he wanted to hear it again. 'I love you too....' those words sounded so perfect coming from Ivy.

Fire-Fly could barely control himself, the first dog he had told he loved them, they had answered with the answer he had hopped to hear. It wasn't his first time....it was the first time that someone had ever said yes. Fire-Fly only manged a small smile. He looked out at the sea and smiled broadly. With a happy sigh he lay down. He looked up and Ivy and he gestured with his tail for her to lay down too.

Fire-Fly wasn't prepared for the question. But he already knew where he wanted to be. He was already there. I'm already where I want to be. He nuzzled her. He hoped she liked him as much as he did her.

Fire-Fly smiled broadly and gave her a lick on the muzzle. He rubbed his muzzle under hers and licked her again. For wolves that was the way they showed love. With a smile he laid his head down and looked out at the gentle waves.

Ivy....have you ever had a.....friend that you thought was your friend, but they turned on you? Fire-Fly asked razing his head. He was beginning to understand that he had betrayed Blach, in a way that he couldn't speak of. He had banished the blamed dog from the camp when it was not him who had killed his father. He would have to risk his neck to apologize to Blach. First thing.....next morning. And he wasn't about to tell Ivy.

ivy I have let Blach down.... he blurted out and told Ivy the whole story. When we were pups Blach and I were such great friend you can't imagine. We did everything together. When Frost hurt Blach I yelled at him fro hours. I was scared for life, as he attacked me, my own father attacked me. I feared he would kill me. Blach was also scared. When my father was going to kill me once, he jumped into the den and saved me, but he almost blinded my father,. I was banded from seeing me friend. I tried to talk to Blach but he hated my father and I was on the verge of hating him too. I was torn between my loyalty to Blach and my loyalty to my father. My father hurt Blach so many times I can't imagine. He talked to me when we were young until that day. That one day he and I were hunting a tribe of mean wolves attacked. My father was with us He saved me but left Blach to die. He dragged me away and he had five wolves guard me. He never wanted to kill Frost. He didn't want revenge. Yes he was angry, but he was never so angry as to murder Frost. I don't know who did it but I know that it was not Blach. Fire-Fly looked away, he didn't want Ivy to see him cry.
