Amber slinked through the dark forest, wondering if there was an end to the trees. Suddenly, a stick cracked behind her. Hello? she asked cautiosly. Hey.... a voice answered her. Who's there? she asked. Just me the voice answered. Then a tiny, lean little wolf came out behind a tree. Hi he said. My name's Juniper. You can call me Jam. He came closer. What's yours? My name is Amber. she said. Oh. Jam peered at her. Amber stepped back a pace. Umm.. I gotta go... Can I come with you?? He asked. I... I guess so. She answered.

Fresha, or Freya as many call her galloped through the trees with her best friend and mate, Robin at her side. Their pelts brushed as they raced on. They stopped and saw Amber and Juniper. They stepped from the trees and Freya said, Hello, I'm Freya and this is Robin.

Hi! Jam said. I'm Juniper, you can call me Jam, and this is.... uh.... what's your name again? he asked Amber. Amber. she replyed. She was glaring daggers at him, but he didn't notice. She hadn't wanted to meet anyone with this little peculiar beast who called himself Jam. Jam.... What kind of a name was that?? she asked herself. But it was too late. She knew she was going to have to ask these strangers to her home. It just wouldn't be polite not to. Uh... would you guys, um, would you like to come with me and Jam to my cave? She asked. She then turned around and looked over her shoulder at them, telling the strangers that they had to decide quickly.

Sure, we'd love to come! Freya said her voice sweet. Robin dipped his head in agreement.

Amber growled softly. She had wanted to talk to Jam alone. She looked at Jam to see his reaction. Surprisingly, he seemed slightly disapointed. Amber turned around and stalked of into the woods. She actually didn't know where she was going, but she knew that she had to find a cave, fast. She ran with the others following her and gradually the trees thinned out. She saw a grassy plain and slowed to a stop. She looked around. In the distance, she could see a sharp rock, as if sticking up out of the ground. As if near a cliff. At the top of a cliff. She ran as fast as she could until she came to the cliff edge. She spotted a rock path and walked slowly down it. Halfway down, she found what she was looking for. A cave! At last!

Amber suddenly had an idea to get Freya and Robin away so she could talk to Jam alone. She twirled around and barked, Bear! Run, run! Go back to the forest! Go go, there is a bear in my cave! Jam jumped up. Come one, let's go! No! Amber screamed. This is my home! You go! I am NOT leaving without you, Amber! Jam said.

What? Bear? What Bear? That was Robin his nose in the air. I can't smell a bear. Fresha had her nose in the air and she nodded.

Amber growled, louder this time. She showed her teeth slightly, not enough for Freya and Robin to see but enough for herself to feel as if she was doing something to get rid of them. Why couldn't these dogs see she wanted to be alone? Amber thought. Well I smell one! Jam said. Finally, he had caught on. Let's go! He yelled back down as he jumped from stone to stone up the cliff. Amber ran after him. With any luck, these dogs, these Freya and Robin, would think Jam and her were complete idiots to think there was a bear in a completely harmless cave. Hopefully they would not follow them.

(Oops! I messed up the paragraphs!)
Amber's ears pricked as she heard that. Finally, alone! Well, alone with Jam, that is, not completely alone because Jam was there and..... She knew that she babbling to herself in her mind, but she couldn't stop. Why was she so nervous around Jam? I mean they just met, she couldn't... he couldn't... they couldn't like each other, right?? That would be crazy! Right....? She turned her head to look at him. He was looking at her. When he saw her looking at him he slowed his pace to a steady trot. Then he stopped all together and sat, just looking at her. Amber stopped, too, but stayed a few paces away. She looked at him for a few minutes and then turned and sat at an outcrop of rock that stuck out from the cliff. I guess we made a full circle back to the cliff, she thought. She heard someone coming up behind her. The next moment, Jam was sitting beside her, looking at the horizon. They watched the sun set together. Rather romantic, Amber thought. She looked at him out of the corner of her eye. He wasn't as subtle and just plainly turned his head to look at her. Suddenly, he picked his paw up and put it on top of hers lightly. Amber nuzzled his chin and he nuzzled her back. So he does like me, she thought. The next moment, Jam put his paw across her back. Amber's heart raced. She knew what was coming. And she couldn't wait. She wanted to be Jam's forever.
THE END xD

Do you want to create a better future than your past? How do you do that? How many people do you know that are still reliving their high school days? They are constantly remembering how things were during their senior year in high school, and how wonderful it was. Bet you anything, if they are really truthful about it, when they were going through it, it wasn't so wonderful.
